Inquiry's priority and severity levels

We should handle your inquiries classifying into the following defined severity.
We'll do our best to solve higher severity issues with higher priority.

Priority Severity Detail
Severity1
  • The production environment is unavailable or so severely impacted that it's impossible to continue working.
  • The whole business is badly affected.
  • The operation is mission critical to the business and the situation is an emergency.

"Severity 1" has one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Data Corruption
  • A critical function is unavailable.
  • System hang causes unacceptable/indefinite delay for resources or performance.
  • System crash. Even after restart the system, that situation cannot be changed.
Severity2 You experience a severe loss of service.  Important features are unavailable with no acceptable workaround.  However, operations can continue in a restricted method.
Severity3 You experience a minor loss of service.  It causes you inconvenience and workarounds are required to restore functions.
Severity4 You experience no loss of service.

Free Software Upgrade Service

You can upgrade your system without additional license fee.

You are able to download Oracle Products Software from websites -- Oracle Software Delivery Cloud.

It's also available to obtain some patches for Oracle products to fix bugs through My Oracle Support website. *
